Our Reason Why…

In 2023, we were searching for summer camps for our son, JP—and we were looking for something different. He wasn’t interested in traditional sports camps, and we quickly realized that there weren’t many options nearby that were adventurous, affordable, and convenient. We didn’t want a camp where he’d sit around all day or be bored. We wanted something that would get him outside, moving, and off technology—without the pressure of competition or traditional sports.

When we couldn’t find a camp that checked those boxes, we decided to create one ourselves.

Now, we are incredibly proud to be entering our third year of R.O.C.K. Adventure Company, which stands for Recreation Outdoor Camp for Kids! We are a fully insured, operational LLC dedicated to providing kids with a truly unique summer experience. This upcoming summer, we will be offering one week in July (6th-10th) and one week in August (10th-14th).

Our campers will take part in exciting outdoor adventures such as white water rafting at the Delaware Water Gap, ropes courses, hiking, canoeing, paddle boarding, swimming, and so much more—all designed to keep kids active, engaged, and having fun.

R.O.C.K. Adventure Company is a camp for all kinds of kids. We are passionate about providing an out-of-the-box experience that not only introduces children to the outdoors, but also focuses on character, confidence, and personal growth. Throughout the week, we encourage self-confidence, overcoming obstacles, and being proud of who you are. Every child will have the opportunity to lead—in their own unique way.

This camp is open to children entering 4th through 7th grade for the 2026–2027 school year. Our home base for drop-off and pick-up will be Hillview School in Pequannock/Pompton Plains.
